EX1-3 Information
Recommend Lv | Lv75~ |
Effective Striker | Green Striker |
Cautious Skills | Skill Lock, Paralyze, Poison |
Green Attribute Weakness
Maleficent has a Green Attribute Weakness. The only character that has this is Peter Pan. So if you have him then you will want to add to your Party.
Character with Green Striker
Beware of Skill Lock
Maleficent in this Stage will frequently use Skill Lock, which will make it difficult to buff and heal, and you will be at a huge disadvantage in battle, as you will not be able to achieve the activation conditions for EX Skills. It is advisable to carefully select Ability for major buff characters to prevent this.
Recommended Characters to Cure Skill Lock
How to Deal with Wave 1
Fight While Applying Buff
In the EX Boss stage, start buffing from Wave 1 against the small enemies. Since the attack and defense of the small enemies have also increased dramatically, it is recommended that you use Single Target Attack and EX Skill's additional attack to dispose of them one by one without fail, instead of AoE.
Start by Dealing with Thorny Mimic
Thorny Mimic will inflict Poison when attacking. You will receive continuous damage from Poison's effect, and if you are unlucky enough to be hit by a concentrated attack, you will fall down, so let's deal with it first.
Adjust SP Leaving Only the Middle Part
Before going to the Wave 2 boss battle, leave only the middle Mimic and adjust SP and HP with "Defend" etc. There is a possibility that you will be paralyzed, but it is better than Skill Lock or Poison, so remove de-buffs from the main characters as much as possible before heading into the boss battle.
Wave 1 Mimic Characteristics and Defeat Priority
Mimic | Priority |
Thorny Mimic | ★★★★★ - Chance to apply Poison when attacking - Large damage to all at random - Be careful of continuous damage from high damage + Poison |
Gargoyle Mimic | ★★★★・ - Significantly increases own defense power - Almost impossible to damage while in barrier. - Chance to put attacked opponent into Paralyze state |
How to Battle Maleficent
Deal with Minions First in Boss Battles
When you get to the Maleficent fight, first defeat the two Mimics below. In particular, the Attack Mimic at the back as it will do AoE attacks and cause you to take more damage, so you should prioritize dealing with it.
Be Careful Not to Use AoE Attacks
If you have AoE characters in your party, avoid using Skills. Maleficent's anger gauge may fill up, making it impossible to respond with strong attacks or Status Ailment in time.
Adjust Anger Gauge with Normal Attack
Once you've finished dealing with the small enemies, gradually make Maleficent angry using basic attacks. If you use an attack skill at this timing, you will immediately become angry, so be careful.
When Maleficent Becomes Angry, Use Skill to Reduce the Gauge
When Maleficent becomes angry, activate attack skills more and more to reduce the gauge. If you are equipped with a Shooting Star Miracle Action, you can also use it here.
Once weakened, Attack All at Once
When Maleficent is in a weakened state, combine skills like Attack UP or Single Target Attacks to launch a concentrated attack. Since she won't perform Status Ailment attacks during this time, it's also recommended to remove defense buffs if they are active and shift everyone to attack.
Wave 2 Enemy Characteristics and Defeat Priority
Mimic | Priority |
Attack Mimic | ★★★★★ - Slightly lowers the defense of the enemy hit - Be careful of the combination of defense down and AoE |
Defense Mimic | ★★★★・ - Grants defense upgrade and damage reduction to self - During the barrier, it is impossible to defeat the enemy, so it is recommended to wait until the effect wears off |
Maleficent | ★★★・・ - Use Skill Lock frequently - Be careful as Skill Lock will be applied to the entire area when angry - Always acts twice |
