How to Increase Explorer Level
Increases in the 1st Conversation
When you get a new character and talk to them at the home screen for the first time, your Explorer level will increase. All you need to do is tap the character, so remember to do this when you get a new character.
Clear Stages
The Explorer Level of the characters that are in your party will increase when you complete a stage. Note that you need to complete the stage, if you are defeated you won't get any points.
Story Progression - Chapters and Stages
Expeditions
Explorer Levels will increase when you do Expeditions. Only the characters that you sent on the Expedition will receive these points, and they will receive more points the longer they spend on the Expedition.
Explorer Level Capped at Lv5
The max Explorer Level is 5, and it won't increase after that. If a character in your party reaches Lv 5, switch them to another character so you can increase the other characters' level.
Advantages of Raising Explorer Level
Obtain Crystals
You get Crystals as a reward each time the Explorer Level increases. You obtain 30 each time the level increases, so you can a total of 150 Crystals by the time it reaches level 5.

Complete Quests
The missions in the job center sometimes requires you to increase the Explorer Level. You can get Avatars as a reward if you have a few characters at level 3 and above, so that is another reason to increase the Explorer Level.
Obtain Emblems
You can also get Emblems if you increase the Explorer level. If you have a favorite character, prioritize raising the Explorer Level for that character so you can get their Emblem.
