Highly Prioritize Defeating Traffic Cone Mimic
The Traffic Cone Mimic uses skills that can reduce your SP and prevent you from using skills that is the key to the battle or SP Boost. Additionally, it can inflict Status Ailments that disable command inputs, such as "Stun." Therefore, make it your priority to defeat it as soon as it appears.
Quickly Handle Skill Locks and Action Disabling Effects
Prankster Mimic and Dice Mimic inflict multiple status ailments. If you suffer from Skill Lock, Poison, Paralyze, or similar effects, you'll be at a significant disadvantage in battle. Therefore, prioritize defeating these two as soon as possible.
Status Ailments Guide - Attributes and Weaknesses
Defeat Mystery Mimic Before it Self-Destructs
Mystery Mimic will self-destruct after stealing SP. It will fall down on its own, but the recoil will also deal heavy damage to multiple allies, so be sure to kill it before it self-destructs. It will use self-destruct on about the second turn.
Mimic Characteristic
Mimic
Skills |
- Piercing damage. |
Beware of Piercing Damage that Ignores Defense
Normal Mimic occasionally deals piercing damage. Be cautious—if left for too long, its ability to ignore defense can result in significant damage. When appearing alongside other Mimics, it has the lowest priority for defeat.
Attack Mimic
Skills |
- AoE attack - Heavy damage (single) - Slightly decreases defense of attacked opponent. |
Be Careful When Multiple Appears
Attack Mimic can reduce the defense of the target and unleash AoE attacks. When 3 to 4 or more appear on the field, the combination of defense reduction and AoE attacks can result in significant damage, so be sure to respond with defensive skills or area attacks.
Defense Mimic
Skills |
- Upgrade own defense power - Damage Reduction - Reduces the attack power of the attacked opponent |
Avoid Attacking When It is Using Barrier
Defense Mimic can increase defense power or create a barrier to reduce incoming damage. While it is buffed, it is often difficult to defeat it, so ignore it and deal with other Mimics first.
Mimic Duo
Skills |
- Heavy attack (single) - Increase own critical hit chance |
Be Cautious of Critical Hits and High Damage Combinations
Mimic Duo grants itself an increased critical hit rate and performs attacks that deal massive damage. Especially when it appears alongside the Cheer Mimic, there is a risk that it will also receive a critical power boost, so prioritize defeating it when they appear together.
Repair Mimic
Skills |
- Grants HP Regeneration to a single ally/all allies - Heals HP |
Eliminate High Defense Mimics First
Repair Mimic, as its name suggests, heals allies. Since it provides significant healing through a team-wide effect, it's important to defeat the Repair Mimic first if there are high-defense enemies like the Defense Mimic or Gargoyle Mimic present.
Cheer Mimic
Skills |
- Small upgrade to overall attack power - Small upgrade to overall defense - Increases overall critical hit rate - Increases overall critical hit damage |
Be Cautious of Combo Attacks with Other Mimics
The Cheer Mimic applies various buffs to allies. When it appears alongside AoE Mimics or those with high-damage skills like super attacks, it's best to defeat the Cheer Mimic first.
Prankster Mimic
Skills |
- Slightly decrease single-target/AoEattack power - Slightly decrease single-target/Aoedefense power - Lock all skills for a certain number of turns - Apply Poison |
Beware of Skill Lock and Poison
When your skills are locked, you won't be able to clear enemies with AoE attacks or recover with Heal skills. This effect lasts for several turns, not just one, so make sure to defeat the enemy before your skills are locked.
Mystery Mimic
Skills |
- Absorb SP - Self destruct |
Kill Before it Self-Destructs
Mystery Mimic is will self-destruct in about 2 turns. Multiple allies will be caught in the explosion and receive huge damage, so be sure to defeat the Mystery Mimic before your support characters are defeated by the self-destruction.
Thorny Mimic
Skills |
- Applies Poison to the attacked opponent - Random damage to all |
Beware of High Damage Attacks and Poison
Thorny Mimic has high attack power and use AoE. In addition, there is a chance that Poison will be applied to the opponent, so this is an enemy that you want to defeat as soon as possible. If you have a character with a heal that cures poison, you can defeat it later.
Gargoyle Mimic
Skills |
- Highly increases own defense power - Applies Paralyze to the attacked opponent - Significantly reduces the damage it receives |
Ignore During Barrier
Gargoyle Mimic has a barrier that blocks almost all attacks. It's useless to attack it, so prioritize defeating other enemies first. However, be cautious: when the Gargoyle Mimic attacks, it may inflict Paralyze. Make sure to defeat it as soon as the barrier is down.
Dice Mimic
Skills |
- Seal SP Boost - Paralyze - Poison - Slightly reduce attack power - Random damage to all |
Beware of Massive Debuffs
Dice Mimic may not deal significant damage, but it inflicts a large number of debuffs. It can restrict your skill usage by locking SP Boost and render you unable to act with Paralyze. Since it has only troublesome debuffs, make it your top priority to defeat!
Spinning Mimic Tea Set
Skills |
- Grant HP Regeneration to self and allies |
Can be Handled Later
Spinning Mimic Tea Set grants ongoing HP Regeneration to itself and its allies. While it heals each turn, the amount of healing per turn is not significant. You can effectively manage it by focusing on defeating enemies one at a time.
Traffic Cone Mimic
Skills |
- Decrease SP - Apply either Skill Lock, SP Boost disabled, or command input disabled |
Defeat Before Skill is Locked
Traffic Cone Mimic reduces SP. Furthermore, it will lock the use of Skills and SP Boost. If you are mainly using skill attacks, you will not be able to do anything, so you can use a target Traffic Cone Mimic for a whole turn. Defeat it before it locks your skill.
Pawpsicle Mimic
Skills |
- Disables the attacked opponent from using skills - Restores HP to all allies |
Beware of Skill Lock
While it targets a single enemy, the Pawpsicle Mimic can also inflict Skill Lock. If you want to avoid having characters with strong AoE or healing skills locked, prioritize defeating it.
