1. Before Heading To The Sawmill - Tips
Stock Up On Ammos
Make sure that you have fully replenished all of your weapon ammos. This includes throwables and traps. There won't be a lot of explosive objects in the Sawmill area therefore you will need to have a lot of resources to clear the horde.

Weapons with a high rate of fire such as the Chicago Chopper and RPD are recommended to use when clearing out hordes. Their fast fire rate will allow you to hit multiple targets in a short amount of time!

Get A Lay Of The Land
Before fighting the horde, check out the surrounding area, and see where are the choke points that you can funnel Freakers into, where are the explosive objects, and if there are any collectible resources.
2. Clearing Out The Horde - Tips
Initiate The Fight With Multiple Molotovs
Starting the fight by throwing multiple Molotovs at the horde will ensure that you take out a number of them even before they start chasing you!
The Roof Of The Sawmill Is a Great Choke Point
The rooftop of the sawmill will have the best choke point in the area. It features a very narrow bridge which you can funnel Freakers into a single line for you to gun down!
Place Traps As You Pass Through Choke Points
Place traps such as Remote Bombs in choke points so that you can deal a ton of damage when a ton of Freakers squeeze through those tight areas.
Unload Bullets On Freakers In Choke Points
Since it takes some time for Freakers to file through choke points, you can use this window to shoot at single targets. Only blow up your traps and use explosive weapons when there are a ton of Freakers have passed.
Shoot Explosive Objects When A Group Is Near Them
Explosive objects such as red barrels will set an area on fire. It is best to shoot these barrels only when there is a group of Freakers near them to make the most out of the explosion!
Use Obstacles To Slow Down Enemies
There are certain obstacles such as stacks of plywood that you can destroy in order to slow down Freakers. Use this time to shoot at stray enemies, and throw explosive weapons at the group!
Use Focused Shot Skill To Aim More Precisely
The skill Focused Shot will allow you to slow down time while aiming. This will allow you to take better aim at Freakers, and explosive barrels!

There will be a ton of items scattered around the area that you can pick up to craft Napalm Molotovs. Keep an eye out for items such as Rags, Growlers, Kerosene, and Polystyrene to craft Napalm Molotovs!

Before heading to the waypoint, make sure to collect the Freaker Ears that drop from the horde. These are a great way for you to earn credits and trust in Camps! They will be marked by an "X" on your minimap.
