1 | This mission starts off immediately after the last mission |
2 | Interact with Skizzo to boost you up the roof of the building |
3 | Kill the Newts on top of the building |
4 | Search inside the building for the mine key and flares |
5 | Unlock the door for Skizzo to trigger a cutscene |
6 | Head towards the mine entrance and interact with the entrance when prompted |
7 | Follow Skizzo through the mine until he leads you to a boarded up area with a "Danger" sign |
8 | Interact with the sign with the square button to kick it out of the way |
9 | Crawl through the opening to get to the next area until a cutscene is triggered |
10 | Follow Skizzo until another cutscene is triggered |
11 | Follow Skizzo again until another cutscene is triggered |
12 | Break the wooden boards blocking the way |
13 | Investigate the clue to see the tracks leading to the Newt |
14 | Fend off the Newt by mashing the buttons that appear |
15 | Head back to Skizzo and defeat the Freakers using melee |
16 | After defeating the Freakers, a cutscene will trigger and end the mission |
3. You're Free To Use Guns On The Newts
Kill off the Newts using your gun to quickly take them out.
4. Search Inside The Building For Key Items
Mine Key Is Inside The Blue Cabinet
You can find the mine key at the second floor inside a blue cabinet by the window.
Flare Is Downstairs By The Shelf
Head to the lower floor and you can find the flares on a shelf.
13. Investigate The Clue On The Floor
Right after breaking the wooden boards, the clue will be on the floor. Investigate this to reveal the tracks leading to the Newt. Turn on your flashlight to easily navigate the mine.
14. Kill The Newt Otherwise Mission Will Fail
You'll have to successfully fend off the Newt by mashing the right buttons. Failing to do so will return you to the last checkpoint.
15. Craft Stronger Melee Weapons
In this section, you're not allowed to use your explosives and guns, so you'll have to rely in using your melee weapons. 2x4 boards are lying around so craft them into Spiked 2x4 to easily take out Freakers.
