Positions to Strengthen with FA Contracts

Strengthening Center Field and Starting Pitchers is Recommended

The Phillies have a thin player pool at CF, so it's good to strengthen them with FA cards that have high extra-base hitting power. The pitching staff has many excellent players in every position, so strengthening the 4th to 5th starters will further stabilize the defense.

Phillies' Characteristics

Phillies' Fielders are Prone to Hitting for Extra Bases

Howard

Phillies' fielders often have high power and average launch angles. Also, many players have wide hot zones, making them more prone to hitting home runs compared to other teams. Strengthen the Full Swing potential ability to increase opportunities for extra-base hits.

Pitchers Have High Ability Scores

Many Phillies pitchers have high ability scores. In particular, many Signature players have an OVR exceeding 65. Since many players have well-balanced ability scores, prioritizing strengthening break and stuff will make it harder for opponents to get hits.

Selection Criteria

Prioritizing Players with High Rarity

High rarity affects a player's initial ability scores and the increase in ability scores when trained. Therefore, the rankings above prioritize selecting players with high rarity.

Players with High Ability Scores Also Have High Lineup Priority

Depending on the player, some high-rarity players may have low ability scores. In particular, some Impact players have low initial ability scores, so replacing them with players with high ability scores or deck scores may increase the team's OVR.

Deck Score is Considered for LIVE/Season Players

The LIVE/Season players selected in the rankings above consider deck score height. Deck score is an important content for increasing the overall ability scores of the team. Therefore, it is acceptable to include players with high deck scores in the lineup even if their ability scores are somewhat low.
