What is a Two-Way Player?
Can be used as both a fielder and pitcher with a single player card
Ohtani, as a two-way player, can be rostered as both a fielder and a pitcher with a single player card. Obtaining a Special card can significantly boost your team's strength, but note that player development must be done separately for pitcher and fielder roles.
Dodgers' Ohtani is fielder only
The '24 Ohtani, after his transfer to the Dodgers, only exists as a fielder player card, not a two-way player. The two-way designation applies to his player cards from '23 and earlier, during his time with the Angels.
