Baal Battle

Battle Tips

Baal Battle

You need to defeat 2 minion bosses before you can fight the final boss, The One Who Waits. Baal is the first mini-boss and should be easy to defeat. However you still need to fight another minion boss and the final boss itself, so prioritize avoiding damage than trying to end the battle quickly.

List of Attacks

Spawn Enemies

Spawn Enemies

Baal will spawn smaller enemies. They shouldn't be too much of a trouble since the boss's attacks aren't that aggresive compared to earlier bosses. Get rid of them when you can.

Triple Melee Attack

Triple Melee Attack

Baal's main attack will be his melee attack which consists of 3 strikes. You can attack him after the 3rd strike.

Ground Spikes

Ground Spikes

If he starts praying on the ground, he will spawn spikes. There will be indicators showing you where they will appear, so you should be able to dodge them with ease as long as you're not too close to him when he attacks.

Aym Battle

Battle Tips

Aym Battle

This battle is very similar to Baal's, however his projectile attacks are harder to dodge. Make sure to keep your distance after dealing a couple hits to avoid taking damage.

List of Attacks

Ground Spikes

Ground Spikes

Much like Baal, when Amy starts praying on the ground there will be spikes coming after you.

Fire Projectiles

Fire Projectiles

If Amy floats in the air, that means Amy will start shooting circle shaped projectiles at you. They are quick and come one after another, so stop attacking and fall back the moment you see Amy float in the air. Otherwise you can easily get hit multiple times.

The One Who Waits - Phase 1

The One Who Waits

Phase 1 Tips

This is only the first phase so like any other boss battle, prioritize avoiding damage than attacking the boss to save for later. This battle gives you plenty of space so you can always adjust your distance with the boss.

List of Attacks

Spawn Enemies

Spawn Enemies

Much like other bosses, smaller enemies will spawn during the The One Who Waits battle. However you will have a lot of space and it's hard to get surrounded, so they shouldn't become too much of a problem.

Ground Spikes

Ground Spikes

Like Aym, spikes will come out of the ground and they will be aimed towards you. Keep an eye on the indicators before they come out of the ground and they should be easy to avoid.

Fire Projectiles

Fire Projectiles

Again, this attack is also similar to Amy's. The boss will start shooting circle shaped projectiles at you, except this time they are slightly larger. Move away from the boss as soon as you see the first one spawn.

Rotating & Firing Projectiles

Rotating & Firing Projectiles

When the boss's health goes down to half, you will have a brief moment to attack as it will stop moving. After that, it will use a new attack with 4 rows of fireballs rotating around him while it shoots projectiles in all directions. You'll need to wait until it ends to avoid damage. If you have long range curses to use, this is the time.

The One Who Waits - Phase 2

The One Who Waits

Phase 2 Tips

In the 2nd Phase, you will be up against 3 floating eyeballs. Every time the health bar is depleted by a third, 1 eyeball will disappear and drop a heart. That is also when you need to be ready for a new set of attacks.

List of Attacks

Floating Orbs

Floating Orbs

Similar to the attacks you've seen throughout the game so far, these take time floating in the air so they should be easy to avoid.

Fire Projectiles

Fire Projectiles

There are a few patterns, including a large circle shaped attack like you've seen before. They will be difficult to dodge if you are too close, so always remember to get away from them after dealing a few hits.

Wide Range Projectiles

Wide Range Projectiles

After defeating an eyeball, you will need to avoid the projectiles that spread through the whole screen. It may seem hard to avoid, but all you need to do is stay in the middle or bottom left/right corner where you will find a safe space.

Spikes & Wide Range Projectiles

Spikes & Wide Range Projectiles

When fighting the remaining 2 eyeballs, the boss in the background will also start to attack at the same time by spawning spikes from the ground and shooting a wide range of projectiles. However they are easy to predict and the eyeballs themselves only repeat the same attacks.

Final Wave of Attacks

Final Wave of Attacks

Once you're down to the last eyeball, the boss will start using more attacks with new waves of patterns and you will only have one eyeball to deal with, so focus on dodging the wide range attacks. Once the last one is defeated, attack the main boss in the background to end the battle.
