How to Beat Heket - Boss Battle Guide

Heket Battle Tips

Prioritize Your Main Weapon

Your main source of damage will always be your main weapon. If you find it difficult to beat the boss, remember you can always retreat and try again until you get a better weapon that you like. You may also unlock stronger weapons as you do so, which will make a significant difference.

Focus on Dodging Attacks

This will be the second boss fight, unless you skip to the 3rd level, and will be a bit tougher than Leshy, the first boss. If you take too much damage in the first half of the battle, it will make it harder to survive in the later half where there will be more attacks thrown at you. It's more important to dodge attacks than dealing damage, so be patient when trying to get near the boss to attack.

Spawn Enemies

Much like the first boss fight, the smaller enemies that appear won't be much of a threat so don't get distracted. But unlike Leshy, they appear from outside the map without the boss having to stop to spawn them, so it won't give you a chance to attack the boss.

Jump Attacks

Although this is how Heket moves, it still deals damage when you are near her. So it is better to avoid where she lands on to avoid dealing damage.

Shooting Bombs

Red/yellow bombs with wings on them, you can see where it will land as there will be an indication on the ground. So it is easier to avoid if you stop attacking as soon as you see it coming.

Tongue Attack

The tongue attack in the first half is hard to dodge as it will attack based on your current location. When it closes its eyes you need to get as far as possible before attacking again.

Multi Tongue Attacks

When it takes a certain amount of damage, the tongue attacks will become multi-hit attacks, covering almost the whole area. But there will be an indication of where it will hit and this allows you to avoid those areas.

Swarm of Smaller Enemies

From time to time, Heket releases swarms of small flying enemies from its mouth. They come in large numbers so they may seem threatening, but they are slow and disappear after a short while so you just need to stay away from them or you can defeat them by a couple of swings.

Boss Leaves Mid-fight

When the HP is down to about one-third, the boss leaves the screen and 2 mid-size frogs appear. They may not look threatening but you can easily get surrounded by the smaller enemies. Again, focus on dodging the attacks than attacking them to save your health.

Random Reward For Defeating Heket

Aside from the main rewards you also get a bonus random reward, mainly a Follower Form or Decoration for your cult. So you can check them out once you have defeated the boss.
