How to Set Up Japanese Language
Change Language in Account Settings
If you want to change the Roblox language to Japanese, go to "More > Settings > Account Info" and set the language to Japanese. The language displayed when Roblox starts, and other interface elements, will then be in Japanese.
For PS4, Change Language on the Web
For PS4, log in to Roblox on the web first and then change the language. Note that you cannot change the language settings from within the PS4 app.
Important Notes on Japanese Language Settings
The Game Itself Won't Necessarily Change Language
Just because you change the language settings in Roblox to Japanese doesn't mean all games playable on Roblox will be displayed in Japanese. Some parts may be translated, but be aware that some games may remain in English.
Be Careful Not to Change to an Unfamiliar Language
If you change to a language you don't understand, you might not be able to find the language settings again and won't be able to change it back. When changing languages, choose one you can at least somewhat read.
What to Do If You Can't Input Japanese?
Switch to Japanese Input with Shift + Alt
If you can't type Japanese in chat, your input language has likely been changed. Try pressing "Left Shift + Alt" on your keyboard to switch to Japanese input.
Copy and Paste from Notepad, etc.
If you still can't type Japanese after switching the input language, open Notepad or a similar application and draft the message you want to chat. Once you've finished drafting, copy it and paste it into the Roblox chat to chat in Japanese.
