How to Configure Security Settings

Accessing from the Settings Screen

Select "Settings" from the More menu to access the various security settings screens. Be sure to configure your security settings properly to enjoy the game safely.

Select the Item You Want to Configure Security For

Select the item you want to change the settings for and configure the security settings that suit you.

Recommended Security Settings

Configure Account Settings

Registering your email address and phone number in the account settings can protect your account. This increases the chances of recovering your account if you can no longer log in.

Set Up 2-Step Verification

Setting up 2-Step Verification adds an extra layer of identity confirmation, reducing the probability of unauthorized access. For more advanced 2-Step Verification, a separate app like "Authenticator" is required.

2-Step Verification Procedure

1.Install "Authenticator" on your smartphone
2.Go to Roblox Settings > Security > Enable Authenticator App
3.Scan the displayed QR code with Authenticator
4.Enter the authentication code displayed in Authenticator
5.Store the backup codes

Configure Privacy Settings

Privacy settings allow you to restrict communication. By setting communication settings to "Custom," you can limit who can chat with you according to your preferences. It is recommended to initially set all items to "Friends" in the custom settings.

Security Settings for Parents

Set Up Parental Controls

If you have young children, use parental controls to restrict the experiences they can play.

Configurable Items and Details

Parent PIN- Locks changes to settings
- A PIN is required to change settings, so there's no worry about settings being changed without permission
Allowed Experiences- Restricts playable experiences

Turning Off Communication Settings is Recommended

In experiences, users can communicate with many unspecified users, so if you are concerned, enable "Account Restrictions." You can turn off communication settings by going to "Settings > Privacy > Account Restrictions > Enable."
