Chapter 5 - Search Underwater Facility
Search Underwater Facility Walkthrough Chart

| 1 | When the cutscene ends, open the door to trigger another cutscene |
| 2 | After the cutscene, crawl through the vent to get to a wider area |
| 3 | Boost your partner across the gap & wait for them to turn off the 1st set of blades |
| 4 | Climb down the ladder then wait for your partner to turn off the other blades |
| 5 | Crawl through the vent to slide down then power up the elevator to head back to your partner |
| 6 | Clear the area of enemies then go back to the elevator |
| 7 | Head down and open the heavy metal doors you come across |
| 8 | Move forward through the rooms until you reach another elevator |
| 9 | Use the elevator to get to the central room then pull the levers beside the doors |
| 10 | Survive & hold off against the onslaught of enemies until time runs out |
| 11 | When the timer ends, head towards the doors and open them with your partner |
6. Focus Fire On Enemies With Rocket Launchers
In this area, there will be several opponents with rocket launchers. Shoot them down first to avoid taking heavy damage from their missiles.
10. Survive Onslaught Of Enemies
Move Around To Avoid Sniper Shots
There will be an influx of snipers in the area after you pull down the levers. Make sure to move around and keep mobile when you see a red laser sight on you to avoid getting shot.
Use Grenades To Crowd Control
You'll also encounter tank-type enemies in this small area. To break down their armor and also damage them, make sure to throw grenades by their feet.
Chapter 5 - Escape With Sherry & Jake

3. Be Aware Of Enemies In Sides Of Structure
As you're going up, aside from enemies dropping down onto your platform, you'll have to defeat several foes armed with machine guns and rocket launchers. Watch out for them to avoid sustained damage.
5. Shoot Haos's Head When It Blocks Your Path
When you're rushing away from the gigantic bio weapon Haos, make sure to shoot its head when it blocks your path. Using a Grenade Launcher is extremely effective.
6. Face Off With Haos For The First Time
When you reach a large circular area, you'll have to face off with Haos - the giant bio weapon. It's best to focus on its face & head to deal heavier damage to it.

1. Dash & Slide To Reach Next Area
When you have to escape from Haos, make sure to keep dashing forward and sliding under the doors to prevent from getting a game over.
Shoot Haos's Hand To Clear Path
As you dash through the pod, make sure to equip a powerful weapon for when Haos smashes its hand inside the pod. Shoot the hand's palm to get rid of it and open your path up again.
5. Finally Defeat Haos
In the 2nd phase of the Haos boss fight, you'll have to defeat a smaller, more mobile version of the bio weapon. It has 3 hearts and significant weak spots that you can exploit to down it.

In this part of the mission, Piers will be able to destroy the barriers using his mutated arm. Make sure to keep behind him and shoot at any enemies you encounter.
Haos Phase 1 - Boss Fight Tips
Focus Fire On Head & Face
The Haos does not move that fast in this phase and can easily be shot when you aim properly. Aim for its face and head as these are its main weak spots.
Dodge Roll When Hand Slams Down
When Haos lifts one of its arms up, this is indication that it'll slam the hand down on you for heavy damage. Make sure to dodge roll away or slide to keep yourself safe.
Go To Edge To Avoid Hand Sweep
Haos also sweeps a wide area with its hand, dealing damage that could lead to a game over. When this happens, roll or slide to the edges of the platform to avoid damage.
Haos Phase 2 - Boss Fight Tips
Weak Spots Are On Its Sides
The main spots you want to target are Haos's sides. The bio weapon has red bulging organs in either side of his body and you need to explode both sides to get him to detach from his body.
Kite Around To Avoid Damage
As you're fighting against Haos, make sure to move around the area as much as possible. The monster won't be able to catch up and you can position yourself to avoid taking damage or loose some well-placed shots.
Separates From Body When Weak Spots Are Damaged
When you destroy both weak spots of Haos, it'll separate from its body, making it vulnerable. Keep away from the lower end as it will explode and damage you.
Run & Melee When Haos Is Down
When you hear Piers shout that this is your chance, make sure to run towards Haos and use your melee attack to destroy one of its hearts.
Has 3 Hearts You Need To Melee Attack
You need to repeat the process of downing Haos 3 times so you can attack its heart each time. It has 3 hearts that you need to destroy to defeat the bio weapon.
Final Melee Attack For 3rd Heart Is A QTE
When you down Haos for the 3rd time, it'll initiate a QTE for you to completely finish it off. Follow the button prompts to complete the process successfully.
Chris Chapter 5 - Emblem Locations
Emblem Location 1 - Above Pipe
When you reach the area where Piers has to stop spinning blades for you, check the pipe above the area before the 2nd set of blades. You'll find this emblem there.
Emblem Location 2 - On Ceiling
When you reach the set of rooms with plenty of incoming enemies, check the ceiling on the upper-right corner. You need to stand by the doorway to spot the 2nd emblem.
Emblem Location 3 - Before Tunnel Door
Right after you hold the doors open for Piers in the underwater tunnel, check the lower-right corner of the door to the next area. You'll spot the 3rd emblem there.
Emblem Location 4 - Above Red Light
Right before the end of this chapter, when you reach the falling platforms, check beyond the right side of the 3rd barrier. You'll see the 4th emblem sitting above a red light fixture.
