Chapter 4 - Clear a Path to Carla

Clear a Path to Carla Walkthrough Chart

No.Procedure
1You will start out on the rear hanger of the aircraft carrier
2Push forward towards front side of the hanger to trigger a small cutscene with Carla
3Climb up to the second floor of the hanger
4Head to the overhead bridge, then boost Piers to the other side
5Make your way to the missile in the middle of the room
6Aim the missile at the barrier
7Piers will then fire the missile, destroying the barrier
8Head to the far right side of the hanger to find an exit
9Make your way through the path
10Enter the control room and pull the lever to secure a route towards the barrier
11Drop down from the control room to reenter the main hanger
12Head to the far right side of the hanger again
13Enter through the red door and follow the path to reach the destroyed barrier
14Open the red door to trigger another cutscene

2. Pushing Forward Toward Carla

Acquire Sniper Rifle in the Room to the Left

Acquire Sniper in the Room to the Left

Once you gain control of your character, head to the small room on your left. There will be a Semi-Auto Sniper Rifle waiting for you on the table in the middle of the room.

Take Out Snipers on the Upper Floors

Take Out Snipers on the Upper Floors

Make sure to take out the snipers hanging out in the upper balconies of the hanger. There will be red barrels near them which you can shoot to deal massive damage. Use your Sniper Rifle to accurately hit those barrels!

5. Heading to the Missile

Use the Balcony

Enemies will be blocking your path to the missile. Use the gap between the balconies as a choke point in order to dispatch the enemies running toward you. They will not be able to attack you while jumping.

Grapple Across the Red Pipe to Reach the Missile

You will need to grapple across a red pipe to reach the missile. Piers will cover you while you shimmy your way towards him. Make sure to press the button prompts to quickly reach him.

11. Reentering the Hanger

When you reenter the hanger, a stationary jet will start attacking you. Get to the upper floors to avoid the jet's line of fire. The cockpit will be open, meaning you can use your sniper rifle to kill the jet's pilot.

Chapter 4 - Track and Follow Carla

1After opening the door, a cutscene with Carla will play
2Open the door in front of you, then follow the path to reach the elevator
3Exit the elevator, then enter the room that Ada just entered
4Open the first door on your left and clear the area of enemies
5Pass through the door with the green sign, next to the bloodstained board
6Continue following the path and open the door with the "Lock" sign
7You will find yourself in a laundry room
8Head up the stairs, and pass through the first door on your left
9Keep pushing forward to trigger another cutscene with Ada
10Clear out the enemies that appear, then follow Ada out the room
11Once you reach the "Lock" door, you will be ambushed by enemies
12Clear out enemies to unlock the door leading upstairs
13Move forward to reach a control room with enemies
14Eliminate all enemies, then jump out the window in the room's backside to trigger another cutscene
15Follow the path to reach a control room
16Defeat all enemies, then cover Piers as he opens the hatch
17Once the hatch is open, climb the ladder and pass through the door in front of you
18A cutscene will play with Carla

1~18. Following Ada / Carla

Use Explosives in Small Rooms

You will be encountering several enemies inside small enclosed rooms. These fights may prove to be difficult since there is not much room to run away from enemies. Use explosive weapons like the grenade launcher to get the job done quickly.

This section of the chapter will have you fighting several enemies. Make sure to check your surroundings for breakable boxes to resupply your weapon's ammo and stock up on some valuable healing items!

Chapter 4 - Get to the Jet

1You will find yourself in an elevator after the cutscene
2Exit the elevator and follow the path leading to the access panel
3Interact with the panel to find out that you need 3 passcodes
4The first passcode is found near the panel
5Open the door to find two Rasklapanjes
6Deal with the enemies and continue forward
7Enter the door to your right, just before the steaming doorway
8Survive the Rasklapanje ambush to open the other side of the room
9You will then find yourself in a diner room area
10Defeat all enemies, then follow your marker to the next room
11Open the door marked "Z", head left, then take the first doorway on your right
12Open the first door to your right to reach a "jail" like room
13Interact with the "Lock" door to open it
14Defeat the Rasklapanje and collect the passcode
15Head back outside and make a right
16Make another right once you reach the fallen sailor, then keep on following the path
17Open the first door to your right to reach a bunk room
18Collect the final passcode
19Follow the corridor to reach a door with yellow handles
20Defeat the enemy that emerges
21Make your way back to the panel and interact with it three times
22Open the door at the end of the room and make your way to the jet
23You will trigger a cutscene once you reach the jet

1~18. Collecting Passcodes

Use the Route Guide to Reorient Yourself

This section of the chapter will have you running around the ship collecting passcodes. There are several rooms that can serve to confuse you. Remember to use your route guide to point you in the right direction if you ever feel lost.

Enemies Will Constantly Chase You

Several enemies will be chasing you while you hunt down the missing passcodes. To conserve precious ammo, it is recommended to only engage the enemies that block your way. Shoot them in their weak points to stagger them, giving you an opportunity to push forward.

5~20. Fighting Rasklapanjes

Can Divide Its Body Into Multiple Parts

The Rasklapanje has a unique ability which allows it to split its body into different parts when enough damage has been taken. Keep your aim trained on the enemy and see if it still tries to attack you when its body has been split.

Hands Can Chase You

Aside from splitting the top and bottom parts of its body, the Rasklapanje can also detach its hands from its body to continue chasing you. Make sure to watch the floor for any hands crawling towards you!

22. Heading to the Jet

Enemies will ambush you once you reach the boiler room type area. Keep your guard up as they will be jumping from the vent to attack you. Time will move slower during this part so you have enough time to aim at the enemies.

Chapter 4 - Stop the Missile Launch

1After the cutscene, you will be inside the jet
2Disable the aircraft carrier's weapons
3After destroying the carrier's weapons, a cutscene will trigger
4Cover Piers as he makes his way to the missile
5Stall the Ogroman that emerges from the carrier
6Distract the Ogroman as Piers makes his way back to the jet
7Shoot down the missile before it launches
8The final cutscene will play to end the chapter

2. Disabling Carrier Weapons

Approaching the carrier will automatically mark the carrier's weapons on your HUD. Look for green diamonds as these are the weapons which you need to shoot down using your jet.

Roll Away From Incoming Missiles

Keep an eye out for incoming missiles. These are denoted by a red icon. If they come too close, you can roll the jet to evade sustaining severe damage to your vehicle.

4. Covering Piers

While Piers is destroying the first blockade, J'avos will emerge from the manhole to his south. Keep your aim trained on these enemies to prevent any from getting too close to him!

While Piers is destroying the second blockade, snipers will be taking aim at him. Aim at the building to your left side. There should be J'avo snipers on the upper balconies which you can take out.

5~6. Engaging the Ogroman

Since the jet has an unlimited supply of ammo, you can keep your aim trained on the giant monster and keep your finger on the trigger. Doing enough damage to any body part will be enough to stagger and stall the Ogroman.

7. Shooting the Missile

You will not fail the mission if the missile launches from the carrier. The missile is supposed to launch regardless of what you do.

Right at your starting point, investigate the chopper in the middle of the area. You'll find the first emblem in its cockpit area inside.

Emblem Location 2 - Top Of Boat

Once you leave the hangar and see the open sea, check the boat with lights in front of you. Use a sniper rifle to scope out the emblem on its far masts.

Emblem Location 3 - Behind Stairs

When you get to one of the control rooms where Piers has to turn a red valve, climb up the ladder he brings down. Go up the stairs and check in between the steps to spot the 3rd emblem.

Emblem Location 4 - Inside Tire

Take control of Piers to find the final emblem in this chapter. When you've landed on the aircraft carrier, explode the first obstacle. Before going to the 2nd obstacle, shoot the emblem inside one of the tires.
