Prologue Tutorial Tips
1~3. Assisting Helena to Safety
Follow the Button Prompts
While assisting Helena, there will be several button prompts that will appear. Make sure to press the button prompts since you will not be able to progress the mission without doing this.
5. Looking For Healing Items
Find Some Herbs in the Car
A green herb can be found inside the broken down car near Helena. Approach it and press the button prompt to get the herb inside.
Create Healing Tablets From Your Inventory
You will need to mix multiple herbs to create the healing pills. You can do this by selecting them from your inventory and choosing "MIX". Once you've made the pills, don't forget to put them in the tablet case in order to use them.
7. Defeating the Zombie
The Zombie Will Grab You
Don't waste your bullets trying to damage the zombie. The game will make the zombie grab you. It will then show you how to shake the enemy off. Follow the button prompts to counter the zombie grabbing you.
8. Heading to the Door
Use the Route Guide if You Are Lost
The game also has a useful Route Guide feature. If you ever feel lost, use the route guide feature to display an arrow which will point you towards your next objective.
11. Defending Yourself From Zombies
Defend Yourself Using Your Gun
You can choose to defend using the pistol that Leon is armed with. Aim for the head of enemies to deal damage. However, please note that your ammo is limited if you chose not to enable infinite ammo.
Defend Yourself Using Melee Attacks
You also have the option to defend yourself using melee attacks. These can stagger and deal damage to zombies, but you will need to get up close and personal with them. Note that you may also run out of stamina when using melee attacks.
13. Running Away From the Explosion
Use Dash to Create Some Space
If you're too slow, the debris from the explosion will reach and crush you. Use dash to increase your sprinting speed to create some space between you and the explosion in order to avoid getting damaged.
17. Defending Helena
Complete Quick Time Event To Defeat the Zombie
In order to defend Helena, you will need to complete a quick time event. Make sure to push the button prompt only when the line is on the highlighted part of the circle to successfully land your shots.
