What are Friends?
Becoming Friends Lets you Play Together Easily!
Friends in Knives Out allow you to easily play team matches together. By inviting a logged-in friend to your team, you can fight on the same team in any battle you deploy to.
You Can Send Reserved Invitations!
By increasing your Intimacy level to 100 or more by fighting together, you can send a reserved invitation to a friend who is already in a match. This feature sends a team-up notification the moment your friend finishes their battle, which is convenient when you want to team up.
How to Send Friend Requests (Sender)
First, Open the Friends Menu
Friend requests are sent from the Friends menu. You can access the Friends menu by tapping the person-shaped icon in the upper right of the lobby screen.
How to Send a Request by Entering Conditions

Tap "Search"!
The sender of the friend request should tap "Search" in the left-side menu. Tapping "Find Friends" will display a screen where you can enter the conditions for the player you want to find.
Enter Conditions and Search
Tap the blank field displayed on the screen and enter the conditions for the person you want to send a friend request to. After entering, pressing the search button will show matching friends.
Tap the "Add" button on the displayed icon!
If the player name search is successful, their icon will be displayed. Pressing the "Add" button next to the icon will complete the friend request.

The sender of the friend request should tap "Nearby People" in the left-side menu. Tapping "Nearby People" will display a screen where you can enter conditions for the player you want to find.
Check the Box and Search
Tap "GPS ON" displayed on the screen, and pressing the search button will show information about nearby Knives Out players. You can also check detailed conditions such as "Male" or "Female."
Tap the "Add" Button on the Displayed Icon!
If the player search is successful, their icon will be displayed. Pressing the "Add" button next to the icon will complete the friend request.

The sender of the friend request should tap "History" in the left-side menu. Tapping "Recent Matches" will display players you recently matched with.

How to Accept Friend Requests (Receiver)
After Checking Notifications, Open the Friends Menu
When a friend sends a request, a notification is immediately sent to your account. The notification appears on the friend icon at the top of the lobby screen, so once you confirm a request has arrived, open the Friends menu.
Tap "Request List" in Notifications
If a friend request has arrived, a notification mark will appear on the "Request List". Opening the request menu will display information about the player who sent the friend request.
Confirm the Friend's Name and Tap "Add"
If there are no issues with the requester's name, tap the "Add" button. The friendship is established the moment you add them, and the friend request process is complete. You can also add multiple friends at once, making it easy to add many friends even if you receive a lot of requests simultaneously.
How to Remove Friends

To remove a friend, first go to the Friends screen. Choose the friend you want to remove by selecting "Remove Friend" from the friend list.

Tapping the "Remove Friend" button will display a remove friend button to the right of the displayed icon. Be aware that when you remove a friend, any Intimacy you had with them will be reset.
How to Efficiently Make Friends
Send Requests to People You Got Along With in Random Teams
To make compatible friends, team up with random players and send requests to those you got along well with. You can send a request from the "+" button on the results screen after a battle, so actively make compatible friends through battles.
Send Requests from Recommended Friend Candidates
In Knives Out, recommended friend candidates are listed. Player level, rank, playstyle, etc., are easily displayed, so it's a good idea to try sending requests to players similar to yourself.
Use the Friend Recruitment Board
To efficiently make friends, use the friend recruitment board. If you also share your playstyle and login times, it will be easier to find compatible companions.
If Friends Don't Appear in Search
Account is Newly Created
If you've just installed the game and your account is newly created, friends may often not appear in searches. In that case, wait a while and try again.
Blacklist
Be careful, as you cannot register someone as a friend if they are on your blacklist. It's located above the add button, so it's good to check if you haven't accidentally added them to the blacklist.
How to Build Intimacy
What is Intimacy?
When you become friends and play together, you can gain Intimacy. By collecting 400 Intimacy points, you can establish an "Intimate Relationship."
You can become Lovers with Avatars of the Opposite Gender!
In Knives Out, you can become lovers with an intimate friend whose avatar is of the opposite gender. There are no benefits to being in a loving relationship yet, but let's look forward to future updates.
