Tactics in Operations
Detect enemy approach with the mines
By setting up mines, you can deal damage and apply a slow debuff to enemies passing nearby. The activation sound helps alert you, making it harder for enemies to flank you when placed in likely enemy paths.

The Sonic Paralysis is strong both offensively and defensively
The Sonic Paralysis can reduce the movement and weapon fire rate of enemies within a certain range. It has two modes: one where the drone advances forward emitting sound waves, and another where it operates in place for an extended duration. It can also serve as a counter to disable enemy reconnaissance.
It's resistant to explosive damage
Shepherd's passive skill reduces damage taken from explosives, making it easier to withstand attacks from grenades and missiles. However, it's important to note that it doesn't make you immune to injuries or damage.
Tactics in Warfare
Contribute to your team by destroying vehicles
Engineers can equip weapons that are effective against vehicles like helicopters and tanks. In warfare, failing to destroy enemy vehicles can lead to a disadvantage, so actively target them when you spot one.
Utilize mines and Sonic Paralysis
Shepherd has access to a drone that slows movement with ultrasound and a sonic trap that can be placed on walls or floors. These tools can be used not only for defense but also to create opportunities for teammates to charge in when attacking objectives.
Repair vehicles
Engineers excel at destroying vehicles, but they can also use repair kits to fix allied vehicles. When a vehicle takes damage, get close to it and use the repair kit to restore its condition.
