Oil Field Mission Walkthrough

| 1 | When you regain control, defeat the Majini on the boats |
| 2 | Keep defeating Majini until you reach a locked gate |
| 3 | Get off the boat and clear the area before pulling the lever to open the gate |
| 4 | Hop back onto the boat and duck when you sail near pipes |
| 5 | When you reach another locked gate, alight and clear the area of Majini |
| 6 | Locate the levers and pull them down together with your partner |
| 7 | Go back to the boat for a series of cutscenes |
| 8 | When the cutscenes are over, encounter and defeat Iriving |
| 9 | After defeating Irving, watch the cutscene to end the mission |
Chapter 3-3 Mission Tips
1-2. Defeat Majinis While On Boat
Use Machine Gun For Mid-Range Distance
Using short range weapons such as shotguns will be ineffective in this mission. It's recommended to use machine guns or rifles to deal damage to enemies that are a distance from you.
Shoot At Explosive Barrels To Defeat Majini
Some Majini are conveniently placed next to explosive barrels. Make use of these environmental factors to wipe out the Majini attacking you.
5. M3 Shotgun Is Available In Locked Gate Area
When you reach the 2nd area with the locked gate, make sure to explore and check every nook and cranny. In the far end of the area, you'll find a silver case with an M3 Shotgun inside.
Irving - Boss Fight Tips
Use Canon To Break Tentacles
In this fight, Irving will summon several tentacles that will swipe and damage you. Go to the side of the boat and use the powerful canon to take out the tentacles one at a time.
Aim For Irving's Weak Spot
When you break off Irving's tentacles, he'll surface and show his weak spot. Use the canon or the machine gun to deal heavy damage to this spot.
Stay On Left Side To Hit Irving's Weak Spot
When Irving pops up from under the water, he'll try to bite you. Dodge or duck then stay on the left side to be able to see and hit his weak spot.
Use Machine Gun To Damage Irving's Body
After dealing enough damage to Irving, his mouth will open and you'll see his body show up. Use the machine guns to deal heavy damage to this part.
Duck & Dodge To Avoid Taking Damage
Irving will pop up once in a while to bite you, make sure to duck or dodge, following on-screen button prompts. This will save you from getting hurt too bad or dying.
Chapter 3-3 Emblem Locations
Chapter 3-3 Emblem 1 - Under Metal Platform
You can spot this emblem under a metal platform right before you head into the first gate. If you're unable to hit it due to the boat's movement, you can still backtrack to its location when you alight to open the gate.
