How To Get Infinite Ammo
1. Complete One Run Of Main Story
You'll need to complete the RE5 main story first before you can unlock and use infinite ammo. This means going through all chapters and unlocking new game +.

After you've completed the main story, go to Item Management and fully upgrade the weapon you want to unlock infinite ammo with. This costs cash so make sure to have a lot of money set aside.

After fully upgrading a weapon, go to Bonus Features and spend Exchange Points to unlock the weapon's Infinite Ammo option.

Once you purchase infinite ammo with Exchange Points, you can now toggle infinite ammo at the start of each mission. Just check the prompts before starting the mission when selecting chapters.

When you have infinite ammo, you can just keep hitting your opponents without worrying about running out of bullets. This is great for speed running or reaching a certain rank during a chapter or mission.
No Need To Pick Ammo Up
With infinite ammo you won't have to worry about having to scour crates and barrels for ammo. If ammo drops, you don't need to waste time picking them up.
