Chapter 3-1 Walkthrough
Marshlands Mission Walkthrough

| 1 | When the cutscene ends, explore the area you start out in and grab the Beast slate from the ground |
| 2 | Get on the boat & follow your marker to find the locked gate - pick up the map to find the slate locations |
| 3 | Collect all 4 slates then go back to the gate |
| 4 | Open the gate and head into the village |
| 5 | Clear the area of tribal Majini |
| 6 | Head to the right side of the area and locate the crank you need to turn |
| 7 | Turn the wheel and let your partner cross the bridge into the house to open the locked door |
| 8 | Go through the door and up the bridge into the cave to get a Ceremonial mask |
| 9 | Leave the cave then jump across the gap on the right then ride the cable car to end the mission |
Chapter 3-1 Mission Tips
2-3. Find Rocket Launcher In Marshlands
The Rocket Launcher can be found in the upper-left area of the Marshlands. It will be on a shipwrecked boat in the middle of the waters.
Rocket Launcher Is One-Time Use
The Rocket Launcher only has one shot and can only be used once. If you want to use the Rocket Launcher again, you need to purchase it before the start of every mission or after you die.
3. Collect All 4 Slates
Get Map To Find Slate Locations
When you reach the Slate gate, you'll find a Slate map near it. Pick it up for clues on where to find all 4 Slates needed to open the gate.
Dodge Alligators To Avoid Dying
In the right-most area where you'll find the Raptor slate, you'll encounter alligators. Be sure to move away from them fast and try not to shoot them down as they can kill you in one bite.
Use Shotgun To Defeat Tribal Majini
The Majini you'll encounter in this area will be tougher to defeat. Make sure to bring an upgraded shotgun to take them down fast.
4. Pick Up S&W M29 In Majini Village
You can pick up the S&W M29 Magnum in the tribal Majini village. You need to go into a circular area where the Majini will trap you. The gun is next to a dead soldier's body.
5. Use Bombs & Grenades To Defeat Giant Majini
Giant Majini are extremely tough to beat and will hit you heavily if they make contact. Keep your distance, use grenades or proximity bombs to counter.
Chapter 3-1 Emblem Locations
Chapter 3-1 Emblem 1 - On Post In Lake
From the starting point, head towards your boat and check the solitary post in the middle of the water. The emblem is perched near the top of the post. Use a rifle to shoot it.
Chapter 3-1 Emblem 2 - Under Hut Stairs
The 2nd emblem in this chapter can be found in the Chicken Farm in the middle of the lake. Check the hut's stairs to spot this emblem.
Chapter 3-1 Emblem 3 - On Hut Rafters
Sail to the upper left corner of the lake to find a couple of huts. Check the rafters to find the emblem location.
Chapter 3-1 Emblem 4 - Under Locked Village Door
After unlocking the village door, jump down into the creek then turn around. You'll find the emblem located under the wooden platform.
