How To Get The BFG 9000 Weapon

Only Available In Deluxe & Collector's Edition

Only Available In Deluxe & Collector

The BFG 9000 is only available to players who have the Deluxe or Collector's edition of the game. If you have the Standard version of the game, you will not be able to unlock the BFG 9000.

Step 1: Access The Store Via The Pause Menu

Access The Store Via The Pause Menu

Pause the game and navigate to the store in the menu. You will be able to do this at any point in the story as long as you have been given the ability to free roam.

Step 2: Link Your Bethesda Account

Link Your Bethesda Account

As soon as you access the store, you will be asked to create or link your Bethesda account to the game. Follow the prompts onscreen in order to successfully create or link your Bethesda account.

Step 3: Head To The Hill In Twisting Canyons

Head To The Hill In Twisting Canyons

After creating your account, head to the Twisting Canyons region. It will be at the bottom of the map. You will be looking for a fork in the road, just North Vineland. There will be a wrecked van just at the foot of the hill.

Step 4: Get The BFG 9000 From The Wreckage

Get The BFG 9000 From The Wreckage

As soon as you get to the location in Twisting Canyons, a comet will crash into the hill. Upon investigating the crash site, you will find the BFG 9000 among the wreckage. When you are close enough, you can interact with it to pick it up.

Deal Massive Damage To An Area Of Effect

After a short delay, the BFG 9000 will launch a slow moving green orb. As soon as the orb makes contact with any surface, it will almost always disintegrate enemies near the point of impact.

Slow Fire Rate & Low Ammo Capacity

Despite being a weapon of mass destruction, the BFG 9000 has a slow fire rate, making it a last resort option in heated fights. It also has a low ammo capacity with 7 being the max ammos it can carry.

Resupply Ammos At Bon Bon Boom! Shop

Resupply Ammos At Bon Bon Boom

You will only be able to resupply the ammo for the BFG 9000 by buying it from Yin Bon Bon's shop at Wellspring. Each round costs 00.
