What to Do When Data Is Lost
Error with Server Selection or Linking
If you opened Knives Out as usual and found it reset to the beginning, your data is likely not gone. It's often the case that you've selected the wrong server or your account link was disconnected for some reason, but the data itself usually remains intact.
Request Data Recovery
If the above methods don't work, request data recovery. It might take some time, but it's recommended as you can reliably apply to the support team.
Recover via Linked Services
1. Select “User” From the Start Screen
If you have linked services like LINE or Twitter, you can recover your account from the linked service. First, tap "User" on the start screen.
2. Log In With the Linked Service
Tap the switch icon from the left tab, select the service you linked, and log in to complete account recovery.
How to Recover Using Email
1. Set Up a Safety Address
You can register by selecting "Email Authentication" from Settings. A verification code will be sent to the email address registered here, so be sure to set up one that you can use. The password can be anything you choose, but be careful not to forget it as it's needed when logging in with your email address.
2. Recover Your Account
When actually recovering your account with a safety address, select "Recover Account" from "Settings" - "Email Authentication". Enter your registered safety address, and a recovery verification code will be sent to your email address.
