What is Aim Assist?
Automatically Aligns Your Sights
Aim Assist is a correction feature that automatically aligns your aim with the enemy. While it requires specific conditions to activate, mastering it can significantly improve your aiming skills.

Aim Assist Features
Aim Correction is Applied

When Aim Assist is ON, if you move your sights close to an enemy, your sights will automatically be drawn to the center of the enemy. The range for this automatic pull is quite small, so a minimum level of aiming skill is still required.
[Caution] Also Activates While Walking
Aim Assist also activates when walking/running. The sights will automatically lock onto the enemy's center, making it impossible to change your viewpoint . If you want Aim Assist to activate only when ADSing, set the plan to "Shooting".
[Important] Varies per Weapon!
The way Aim Assist works differs depending on the weapon you are holding. It can vary significantly even within the same weapon type, so weapon evaluations change when Aim Assist is ON. If you're not confident in your shooting, weapons with stronger Aim Assist are recommended.

---|---|---|---|
- M4A1 - AK-47 - S-ACR - MP5 - MK5 - UZI - SK12 - Dual TMP - M860 - Kar98k - M27 - AWM | Strong | Strong | Approx. 3 sec |

*During the lock-on time, viewpoint control is very difficult.
What Happens with Strong Assist?
When the correction is strong, the viewpoint locks onto the enemy's center for about 3 seconds. Once aim is locked, it's easy to shoot even while moving erratically.
What Happens with Weak Assist?
When the correction is weak, only the effect of being sharply pulled towards the enemy's center remains. There is no lock-on effect.
[Caution] Not Suitable for Headshots

Aim Assist corrects to the enemy's center (around the chest), so you'll hit the body more often. Even if you try for a headshot, you'll be automatically pulled to the center, making it very difficult to aim. Turn it OFF if you want to aim for headshots.
Is Aim Assist Practical?
Use If Your Favorite Weapons Have Strong Assist!

When Aim Assist is strong, the lock-on effect that fixes your sights on the enemy for several seconds makes it very easy to shoot and powerful. If your favorite weapons have strong Aim Assist, try turning Aim Assist ON.
Weak Assist is Hard to Use

When Aim Assist is weak, the powerful lock-on effect doesn't apply, which can actually make shooting more difficult. Unnecessary correction also occurs when trying for headshots. Consider your own playstyle.
