Bots Characteristics in Knvies Out. This guide includes the characteristics and identifies the Bots in Knives Out. Use this as your reference when identifying them.
What is a bot?
Players Added When There Aren't Enough People
A bot is a robot player added to battles when there aren't enough people on the server. They can only perform predetermined actions and are enemies that even complete beginners can easily defeat.
Do They Not Appear on the Japanese Mobile Server?

Currently, the Japanese mobile server is very crowded, so only a few bots appear. During times with fewer players, such as early morning or late night, you might encounter more than half bots even on the Japanese server.
Appear Frequently on Global Servers
Global servers have fewer players compared to Japanese servers, so the encounter rate with bots is higher. Players who want to fight bots should try switching to a global server from the home screen.
Bot Characteristics
Cannot Perform Complex Movements
Bots cannot perform complex movements like reacting to enemy player actions. Even if an enemy is nearby or they are being shot at, they cannot evade quickly, making them easy to defeat. Be careful of their shooting behavior.
Reacts to Sound

Bots do not react to visual contact but do react to sound. Even from a considerable distance, if you make a sound, they will turn towards you and shoot.
Has Supplies from the Start

Bots randomly have anything from common to high-tier equipment from the start. They may even be wearing Level 3 Vests or Helmets, so if you can, try to defeat them without damaging their gear.
Does Not Loot Supplies

Bots do not open house doors or loot supplies. Therefore, on global servers with many bots, it's easier for players to gather supplies.
Does Not Use Vehicles

Partly because they cannot perform complex movements, bots do not use vehicles for transportation. Their main mode of travel is walking, and they stop when shot at. They do not run in a zigzag pattern.
Drops Anywhere

Since bots don't loot, they drop anywhere. They might even drop in forests from the start, so you're likely to encounter them even if you avoid hot drop zones. On global servers, check your surroundings even in sparsely populated areas.
Doesn't Get Killed Even When Shot

When shot by a bot, after your health gauge decreases by a certain amount, they start aiming eternally at a spot that just barely misses you, so you will rarely be killed by them.
Tips! | Be careful, as complex movements can rarely lead to being killed. |

How to Distinguish Bots from Players
[Important]Be Careful if House Doors are Open!

Bots do not loot supplies and never open house doors. If you find open doors or signs of looting while exploring a town, it's proof that a human enemy is nearby.
[Important]Beware of Vehicle Sounds!

Since bots don't use vehicles, if you see an enemy driving a vehicle, they are definitely a human player.
Humans Wear Purchased Items

Players wearing collaboration skins or similar items can be identified as human players at a glance. Also, when looting their supply crate after defeating them, if you find a key box, you can tell they were a human player.
Bots Do Not Loot Airdrops

Bots do not loot regular supplies or airdrops, so if you see an enemy near an airdrop, assume it's a player.
