How to Change Your Name
Use a Rename Card
You can change your name by using a Rename Card. Select the rename card in your warehouse and tap 'Use 1 time'.
Character Limit is Up to 10 Characters
The number of characters that can be used for a name is up to 10 characters. Within the character limit, you can relatively freely decide your name using special symbols and characters. Some expressions may not be usable, displaying a message like 'Name contains inappropriate expressions or unsupported characters'.
How to Get a Rename Card
Purchase with Gold Vouchers
Currently, the only way to obtain a Rename Card is by purchasing it from the shop for 90 Gold Vouchers. Cannot be purchased with Bound Gold Vouchers, so you will need to make a purchase with real money.
Change Name by Deleting Account
1. Tap "User"
Reinstalling the app will not create a new account.If you want to delete your account and restart with a different name, select "Delete Account" from the "User" section on the game's opening screen.
2. Restart by "Create New Account"
Selecting "Create New Account" will delete your current account and allow you to restart with a new one. This operation will also erase linked data, so if you want to keep your original data, use the account switching feature.
3. Start Settings with Game Start
Return to the startup screen and press the "Game Start" button to enter your name and choose your gender again. You can start with a new account. Note that you cannot transfer data when changing your name.
Important Notes on Name Changes
Names Already in Use Cannot Be Used
In Knives Out, registered names cannot be used duplicately.Even if you restart the game, the name might already be in use and you won't be able to register it, so think of multiple names before deleting your existing account.
Consider Changing Gender as Well
Similar to the name, the character's gender is also set initially. If you want to change it after setting, you can change your gender by using a gender change item.Changing gender requires Gold Vouchers, so decide carefully.
