Cleaver can only be obtained from the Heroic Chest. Since he is discharged at the highest rarity, he is easier to train compared to other characters. If obtained early, he serves as a tank with very high stats. However, Astaroth, who can be reliably obtained early on, also serves as a powerful tank, so there's no need to force obtaining Cleaver.
Powerful When Paired with Peppy
Cleaver's 2nd skill deals damage to himself and enemies. If Peppy's 2nd skill can target Cleaver, the damage Cleaver deals to himself can be inflicted on enemies. This strategy tends to reduce HP quickly, so it's recommended to include a healer in the team.
