Tips for Team Building
No Character is a Must-Have
In Hero Wars, every character has different abilities. While many characters are versatile or specialized, no character is absolutely essential to include in your team.
Change Your Team Based on the Opponent
Each character in Hero Wars has strengths and weaknesses, making them suitable for different situations. Ideally, you should build your team considering counters to bosses and opponent team compositions.
Align Attack Types
Damage in Hero Wars is categorized into three types: 'Physical Damage,' 'Magical Damage,' and 'Pure Damage.' When facing a team strong against physical damage, using a magical team can make it easier to win. Additionally, having the entire team benefit from characters that buff the same attack attribute is advantageous.
Consider Hero Order
Each character in Hero Wars has a predetermined order when placed in a team. For example, Astaroth is always placed behind Aurora. Be careful not to place attackers with low defense on the frontline, or tanks meant to protect the frontline in the middle or back rows.
Include at Least One Attacker
In Hero Wars battles, you lose if you cannot defeat all enemies within the time limit. To maximize the damage dealt to enemies, include at least one attacker in your team.
Examples of Recommended Teams for the Very Early Game
Form a Team with Easily Obtainable Characters

When you're just starting the game, build a balanced team around the excellent tank Astaroth using the characters you've obtained. As you acquire new characters, transition to a team composition that considers factions and character synergies.

Orion and Helios-Centered Magical Team
