The Thunderbarge: Obtaining the Ion Coil mission cannot be played unless the Phuyu-Kuni region has been secured first! Complete the mission in Meteolab for the Phuyu-Kuni region to be open for securing.

Mission Needs to be Started Manually
Upon getting to the Meteolab in Phuyu-Kuni, you'll need to manually activate the mission to start. Stand near the quest marker to get a prompt to start the mission.

Stay Low to Stay Clear of Lightning
Lightning will pose as a threat to you during the mission. Stay low on the ground as lightning will target objects higher up in the air. Using your parachute in this mission is very risky because of this.
Sparks on Your Back Indicates Lightning Strike
Sparks will appear on your back if lightning is about to strike you. The bigger the sparks, the less time you have before it strikes. Escape from it by grappling away and moving fast between the generators.
