There are three types of equipment enhancement methods: 'Breakthrough,' 'Promotion,' and 'Refinement.' It is recommended to prioritize Breakthrough first to increase your stats.
Equipment Level Cannot Be Increased
Equipment has an 'Equipment Level' set when obtained, and the higher the equipment level, the higher the basic performance of the same equipment. This equipment level is determined by the location or content where it was obtained and cannot be enhanced.
Equipment Breakthrough
The breakthrough value of equipment can be increased using 'Gold Coins' or 'Breakthrough Stones,' which increases the stats gained when equipped. The breakthrough status of equipment is carried over even if you change equipment, so enhance it as long as you have materials.
Equipment Promotion
Equipment Promotion is a so-called 'limit break' feature that uses identical equipment of Hero set or higher as material, and the stat increase when equipped is enhanced at each promotion stage. If you obtain two or more of the same equipment, promote the one with higher performance.
Equipment Refinement
Equipment Refinement is the act of changing the type and numerical values of random stats that are applied to equipment. You can choose whether to apply the refined stats or keep the original ones. For equipment you plan to use for a long time, it's recommended to refine it until it has the maximum Lv5 stats.
About Equipment Forging
Obtain Through Forging
In 'Forging,' unlocked by clearing Quest 3-8, you can create powerful Legendary rare equipment using 'Crystal Ores' corresponding to each part and set equipment as materials. The strength of the forged equipment also increases according to the strength of the material equipment.
Obtained in 'Mystic Crevice'
Crystal Ores can be obtained as rewards from 'Mystic Crevice,' unlocked by clearing 1-8. The type of Crystal Ore dropped also changes depending on the boss you challenge, so check the reward list before challenging.
Should Equipment Be Dismantled?
Dismantle Low-Rarity Equipment Actively
Once you obtain stronger equipment, it's fine to dismantle equipment you no longer use. Dismantled equipment is converted into 'Raw Materials' used for 'Refinement', so it's recommended to check 'Auto-Dismantle' for low-rarity items.
Keep Set Equipment
Set equipment, which has an orange border on its icon, may be used for Forging or Promotion, so it's recommended to keep it until your warehouse is full. Also, rest assured that set equipment will not be dismantled by 'Auto-Dismantle'.
