Correct Choices

Conversation at the First Crime Scene

The event will proceed regardless of which option you choose, so pick any.

Conversation with Moroboshi-sensei

There is no reward for the correct answer, so it's okay if you choose the wrong option.

Konban Wife

When selecting a course, money will be deducted according to the price, so a cheaper course is recommended. If you choose the 65-minute course, you'll receive a Staminan X, but it's cheaper to buy it at a convenience store.

Choices at the First Crime Scene are Free

Choices will appear during the interaction with Kaito at the first crime scene. The scenario will progress no matter which you choose, so pick your favorite.

Investigate the Second Scene in Search Mode

Upon arriving at the second crime scene, Active Search Mode will begin. Investigate the target locations to advance the event. Also, at the second crime scene, there is a cat, so if you are aiming for trophy completion, be careful not to miss it.

Chase the Masked Man

After the event, it will become a Chase Mode to pursue the masked man. Chasing him to the park will clear it. Try not to make mistakes with command or stick inputs.

Help the Homeless Person

From the Park Manhole to the Sewer

After Chase Mode ends, an event will occur when heading to Genda Law Office. To help the fallen homeless person, go meet Moroboshi in the underground sewer.

Moroboshi's Conversation Choices

When you talk to Moroboshi at the back of the sewer, choices will appear in the conversation with Moroboshi. Choose the correct option. You won't get SP or anything special, so it's okay if you make a mistake.

Goro Moroboshi Can Heal Mortal Wounds

In Judge Eyes, there are enemies with Mortal Wound attacks that reduce your maximum health gauge. To heal mortal wounds, you need to either pay Moroboshi a treatment fee or use a medical kit sold by Moroboshi. This will be necessary later, so keep it in mind.

Head to HEAVY COFFEE

Tailing Mode Begins

After listening to the client at the office, head to HEAVY COFFEE to investigate Noriko's husband. Upon arriving at HEAVY COFFEE, a tailing event to track the husband will occur.

Take Evidence of the Affair

When the tailing ends, it moves to a scoop mission. Take a photo of the evidence with the mistress so that all checks are met. If you take a picture when the checks are not met, you will have to start over, so be careful.

Even if it's a Shutter Chance, Wait a Little

When all checks are met, it becomes a shutter chance and the screen zooms in. In this mission, immediately after it becomes a shutter chance, the mistress and husband will overlap, making it impossible to meet the checks. Wait a little while before taking the photo.

Complete the Tailing Event Again

This time, Tailing Mode will occur to investigate the mistress's identity. If you complete the tailing without being noticed, the event will end.

Some Content Unlocked by Clearing the Event

Side Cases Can Be Accepted from the Bulletin Board

By clearing the event, you will be able to accept requests as side cases from "Yagami Detective Agency," "Genda Law Office," and "BAR Tender." Clearing side cases allows you to earn money and SP.

Battle with Keihin Gang's Kasai

Defeat the Lackeys with Crane Style

After the affair investigation event ends, an event will occur when you leave the detective agency, leading to a battle with Kasai of the Keihin Gang. First, defeat Kasai's weaker lackeys with Crane Style.

Kasai's Special Move is OK if You Keep Distance

Kasai's normal attacks are numerous but deal very low damage, so you don't need to worry much even if hit. As for his special move, it won't hit if you keep your distance, so attack with Tiger Style after he misses an attack.

After Defeating Kasai, Keihin Gang Will Start Encountering You

After defeating Kasai, Keihin Gang thugs will roam the streets. If found, a battle will occur, but you can choose to fight or ignore them. By fighting and defeating enemies, you can earn a small amount of SP, and there's a chance for item drops like money.

Head to Millennium Tower

Drone Race Unlocked

Chase the runaway drone and head to Millennium Tower. After a conversation event with Makihara, the owner of the runaway drone, you will be able to participate in drone races inside Millennium Tower.

Drone Upgrade Parts Drop in the City

After unlocking drone races, items that can upgrade drones will start dropping in the city. If you see them while moving around, pick them up.

Battle with Thugs

A battle event will occur when you meet Kaito at Koi Onna. The enemies are not that strong, so scatter them with Crane Style or by using the chairs available.

Casino Unlocked

Play Casino While Waiting for Ayabe

Go down from the counter at Koi Onna, proceed to the back, and use the R1 key to go to the back-alley casino. You need to play the casino once while waiting for Ayabe. In the back-alley casino, you can play Poker or Blackjack, so choose whichever you like.

Battle with Mysterious Attackers

When you return to Yagami Detective Agency with the documents received from Ayabe, you will battle mysterious attackers. They all have bats, and you can pick up their bats after defeating them, so make use of them.

Receive Staminan X with the 65-Minute Course

The receptionist's reaction changes with each choice, but the main event doesn't change, so pick what you like. If you choose the 65-minute, 17,000 yen course, you'll get a Staminan X from the receptionist, but it's sold at convenience stores for 6,000 yen, so it's cheaper to just buy it.

Battle with Matsugane Family Members

Save EX Boost Until the Ozaki Fight

After moving and completing the event, a battle with Matsugane Family members will begin. Kengo, whom you fight first, is easy to defeat, but Ozaki & his men who appear later are troublesome, so save your EX Boost for later.

Defeat Lackeys with Crane Style

After defeating Kengo, Ozaki and his men will appear simultaneously, so first defeat the men with Crane Style. It's hard to pick up effective combat items, so it's recommended to deal damage to everyone with EX Wall Jump Crush (EX Action from Wall Dash), which can be acquired for 100 SP.

▲ It's okay to just punch normally. EX Actions from a triangle jump are hard to interrupt, making it easy to chip away health.

Switch to Tiger Style When Ozaki is Alone

When Ozaki is alone, switch to Tiger Style. Also, be careful as a QTE will start when Ozaki's health gauge reaches half. Finish off his remaining HP with EX Boost or EX Actions.

Deal with Attacks Using Sway

The battle field is somewhat narrow, making it easy to get hit, so be careful. When Ozaki enters his special move motion, keep your distance and dodge with Sway. If your HP gets low, recovering with items is also recommended.

▲ The special move is a 2-hit attack. Dodge the first hit by keeping distance, and then evade the second diving attack with Sway.

Escape from the Matsugane Family

Winning the battle starts an event to escape from the Matsugane Family via Chase Mode. There are significantly more QTEs (command elements) than in the prologue's Chase Mode, so be careful.
