3 Unlock Methods Available

There are in total, 3 ways of unlocking / adding new character to your roster in SSBU. By completing either one of these condition will unlock these Fighter to be used in Smash Mode and Classic Mode.

Multi Hitting Side Smash Attack

Bowser Jr.'s side smash can hit multiple times, making it hard to dodge. Even it the attack is blocked by a shield, Bowser Jr. isn't left vulnerable, so it's hard for the opponent to counter.

Junior Clown Car Are More Sturdy

The Junior Clown Car takes less damage than Bowser Jr.'s body. When you're under attack, try to get the opponent to hit the Junior Clown Car instead of Bowser Jr.

Shadow Mario Paint
Bowser Jr. becomes Shadow Mario in order to deal damage by painting a giant X on the screen. He is able to move during his Final Smash, allowing him to pull off follow-up attacks on his opponents.

Transforms the Junior Clown Car into a kart that speeds forward. Changing directions spins the cart.
Up Super
(↑ + B)
15.6%[Abandon Ship ]
Ejects from the Junior Clown Car just before it explodes. He can attack while he falls.
Down Super
(↓ + B)
8.4%[Mechakoopa]
Deploys a Mechakoopa that explodes if thrown, attacked, or just left alone.
