Character Origin & Backstory

Wii Fit Trainer debuted in the title Wii Fit, released in North America in 2008. Players could choose a male or female trainer to guide them through their fitness routine.

There is a female version and a male version of the Wii Fit Trainer. In the Wii Fit games, they act as a fitness coach. Sometimes they run late, oversleep, or have the other trainer fill in for them.

3 Unlock Methods Available

There are in total, 3 ways of unlocking / adding new character to your roster in SSBU. By completing either one of these condition will unlock these Fighter to be used in Smash Mode and Classic Mode.

Wide Arcing Range with Side Tilt Attack

It's not just the front arm thrust that deals damage—the leg raised up behind is also a powerful attack that launches foes straight up.

Moment of Invulnerbility with Up Smash Attack

You're invincible for a moment just before unleashing this. Try using it to launch foes attacking from above.

Low Hitting Down Smash Attack

Launch opponents at a low angle. If these moves have been strengthened, you can sometimes even KO opponents who aren't significantly damaged.

Wii Fit Trainer sends an army of yoga pose silhouettes flying out. These silhouettes grow in size and push foes away, even off the stage! Foes that are close when this move begins may be hit multiple times in a row.

Gyrates into the air, striking opponents. Floating is posible with rapid button presses.

Inhales deeply. Can heal, boost movement, and increase launch power with good timing.
