3 Unlock Methods Available

There are in total, 3 ways of unlocking / adding new character to your roster in SSBU. By completing either one of these condition will unlock these Fighter to be used in Smash Mode and Classic Mode.

KING DEDEDE - Featured Video

Down Tilt Attack to Attack On the Move

He can attack while prone by cartwheeling forward. This lets him attack while moving, like a dash attack.

Hard-hitting Dash Attack

This attack leaves King Dedede wide open to attacks, but it can also launch opponents very far. Kind Dedede's been using this move since the first game in the series, Kirby's Dream Land.

Hovering Jump

Kind Dedede can float after taking a big gulp of air. This move is the result of lots of hard work and training so he could put up a fight against Kirby after previously losing to him.

Dede-Rush - Final Smash

Dede-Rush
Dedede slams an opponent into a chain-link cage with his hammer before unleashing missiles. He then transforms into Masked Dedede and launches the opponent. If you miss the first swing, the move doesn't activate.

Jumps up high and then crashes downward. Can be canceled by tilting up.

(↓ + B)
14.4 ~ 48.0%[Jet Hammer]
Charges up his hammer for a mighty blow. Can move while charging but takes damage if charged too long.
