Character Origin & Backstory

Zelda first appeared in the NES title The Legend of Zelda, released in North America in 1987. In that title, the evil Ganon kidnaps Zelda and steals the Triforce of Power.

There are in total, 3 ways of unlocking / adding new character to your roster in SSBU. By completing either one of these condition will unlock these Fighter to be used in Smash Mode and Classic Mode.

ZELDA - Fighter Tips & Featured Move Sets

ZELDA - Featured Video

Forward Air / Back Air as Finisher in Air

The tip of Zelda's foot is packed with launch power at the beginning of the move. It has good KO potential but leave you vulnerable, and only the tip has good launch power.

Down Air Attack to Take Down Airborne Targets

A move with a meteor effect. The beginning of the move has the most power, but you can use it to distrupt somebody from recovering even if you don't get a clean hit.

Triforce of Wisdom - Final Smash

Triforce of Wisdom
Zelda uses the Triforce of Wisdom against an opponent, damaging and launching them. If the opponent has 100 damage or more, they are sealed away (and KO'd) instead of being launched.

Fires magic that explodes after a time or when the button is released.

Teleports herself in any direction. Deals damage when disappearing and reappearing.
Down Super
(↓ + B)
16.9%[Phantom Slash]
Assembles a phantom, then sends it charging forward. The timing of the button press determines its attack.

Zelda slightly bends her knees and does a small spin sweep with her leg.
