Mario's eternal rival, Bowser, debuted in Super Mario Bros. He appeared as the boss of every world, but they were all fake except for in World 8.

3 Unlock Methods Available

There are in total, 3 ways of unlocking / adding new character to your roster in SSBU. By completing either one of these condition will unlock these Fighter to be used in Smash Mode and Classic Mode.

Super Armor with Little Damage

Bowser's a real tough guy. When he's only lightly damaged, weaker attacks won't make him flinch.

Alternating Landing Timing to Avoid Ambushes

When you're in the air prior to landing and it looks like an opponent is going to try to hit you from below, you can alter your landing timing by using a down air attack or a down special.

Super Armor on His Tilt Attacks

Weak attacks won't cause him to flinch while his damage is low. He also gets super armor at the start of his tilt attacks and smash attacks.

Giga Bowser Punch - Final Smash

Giga Bowser Punch
Bowser transforms into the gigantic Giga Bowser. Aim carefully and unleash a ferocious punch. If an opponent has already taken a lot of damage when they're hit, they are KO'd instantly.

Grabs an opponent, jumps into the air, and then slams them to the ground.

15.6%[Whirling Fortress]
Ducks inside his shell and spins. Can be moved sideways while spinning.
Down Super
(↓ + B)
28.8%[Bowser Bomb]
Butt-stomps enemies. On the ground, he can lift opponents with his horns.

Bowsers does low backhand swing then grab in both directions, one after the other. He does his backhand swing in the direction he is facing.
