Line-up All Your Attacks
This strategy relies on weaking the enemies counterattack and inducing a paralysis status on them. Houndoom and Raichu both have moves that attack all opponents while inflicting them the aforementioned status effects. Using the buffs and the additional Move Gauges provided by Rosa, attacking can be done continuously and without pause.
Utilize Houndoom's "Snarl"
Houndoom's Snarl reduces those damaged with the attack with a 1 reduction in their Sp. Atk. The effect stacks and with this consuming only 2 Move Gauges, it can help build your Sync Move while keeping the enemies' offensive power in check.
Time Houndoom's "Entertain Me!"
Houndoom can use the move "Entertain Me!" to increase its Sp. Atk the lesser HP it has. Use this during the latter parts of the battle and it goes well with Mega Houndoom's Dark Pulse.

Bring Pokemon That Can Target All
The two Pokemon that come with Grant can be easily eliminated with moves that target all opponents, provided that you have decent Strike. Eliminating those two at the same time forces Grant to only target once Pokemon and will only rely on Sync Move to wipe out your Team.
Get The First Sync Move
Getting the first Sync Move in the battle allows your characters to withstand the brunt of the first enemy Sync Move. Get there fast by mixing the use of Trainer Moves and attacks!
Enemy Needs Only 6 Actions To Use Sync Move
This battle already puts the player at a disadvantage as the enemy team can just do 6 moves to do a Sync Move, as opposed to the player requiring 9 moves for it to be useable. Ready your Trainer Moves and use them wisely to get ahead of Grant.
Grant Gets Additional Move Gauges & Heals Automatically
Grant and Amaura can make use of a move called "Over the Wall!" which increases Amaura's move gauge and gives a passive healing buff. Bring units that can outdamage the heal and accompany them with support that can help them evade or heal them.
