Watch Out For Infernape's Physical Moves

Infernape has strong Physical attacks that have a chance to leave you with a Burn status effect. This Pokemon also attacks fast so use Speed debuffs to keep from beating you up.

Use Speed Down On Infernape & Chandelure

The Infernape has a high attack speed and the Chandelure can drastically boost its Speed with a Trainer Move. Negate or debuff these stat boosts by bringing Pokemon that can lower the enemy's Speed.

The Chandelure is a Ghost-type Pokemon that's able to attack with Fire damage. Water Types won't be as effective so switch to a Rock Pokemon to counter Chandelure.

Have Mostly Water & 1 Rock Pokemon In Party

Have Mostly Water & 1 Rock Pokemon In Party

Since you'll mostly be facing more Fire types in this battle, it's best to bring your strongest Sync Pair with Water Pokemon. Once Shauntal brings out her Chandelure, swap to a Rock Pokemon to deal more effective damage.

Lower Speed Of Infernape & Chandelure

Infernape has moderately high speed, allowing it to attack you more often while Chandelure is able to raise its Speed with a Trainer Move. You can debuff and lower their Speed to keep them from barraging you with attacks.
