What Are Base Points?

Points At The Start Of A Race

Drivers, Karts, and Gliders each have their own base Points. Once you start a race, you automatically get these points based on your loadout. This helps a lot especially if you're aiming to get 5 Grand Stars in a race.

The Rarer, The Higher The Points

The higher the rarity of the driver, kart, or glider, the higher the base points. Use characters in their favored courses to get the maximum effect!

How To Raise Base Points Fast

Keep Racing!

After completing a race, characters, karts, and gliders used will receive points that will then fill up a bar. Once a bar is filled, that character or item's base point will increase.

There Is A Limit

You cannot grind drivers, karts, and gliders to increase their base points as there is a set limit everday. Make the most out of it by using drivers and items that you want to level up first.

Use Tickets

Point-boost tickets are consumable items that can be used to dramatically raise Base Points. You can use them after you acquired them or save them later for better drivers or items.

How To Get Point-Boost Tickets

Buy From The Shop

You can buy tickets from the "Daily Selects" in the shop using in-game coins. The item line-up changes daily so try to frequently check the store to see if its selling the point-boost ticket that you need.

From Tour Gifts

Point-boost tickets can also be acquired via Tour Gifts, which can then be unlocked by collecting Grand Stars. Good thing is you can check Tour Gifts that you have yet to unlock, making it possible to plan and time their usage.

Win Rank-Eligible Cups

Rank-Eligible Cups are time-based tournaments that require you to rack up points to increase your rank. The higher the rank, the better the rewards, and they do sometimes give out tickets to the winners.
