Event Pipe Mechanism Explained

Quantity by rarity

Pipe With A Stock Pool

The Pipes have a fixed stock pool that sets a limit to the number of times items of each rarity will appear. That means you might not get all the drivers, karts, or gliders even if you empty the pool.

Fixed Number Of Appearance For Each Rarity Category

The number of times items of each rarity appear is capped for each pool run.

For example:
  • A High-End Rarity Driver has a quantity of 1 in the pool.
  • The pool has 4 high-end drivers total in the appearance list.
  • You draw one of the high-end drivers in the first 10 tries.
  • High-End Drivers will no longer appear for the rest of the 90 tries in the pool

Only 1 High End Rarity Quantity Per Item

The quantity cap for High-End rarity is capped at 1 for each item (Driver, Kart, and Glider). If you draw a High-End rarity item that you're not after, reset the pool immediately.

High-End Spotlight Is Guaranteed If You Empty the Pool

The Event Spotlight Driver, Kart and Glider uses a separate rarity category than others. So it is a guaranteed drop if you empty the pool.

Reset To Return The Pool To Default

Reset pool

You can return the pool to its defaut state by pressing the Reset option. If you didn't get the item you want but reached the rarity appearance cap for that item, reset the pool.

When Should You Reset The Pool?

When High-End Rarity Quantity Cap Is Reached

The quantity cap for High-End rarity is capped at 1 for each item. Once drawn, it won't appear for the rest of the pool draw. Reset when you've drawn an high end item you're not after that shares a same item category.

After Getting All The Spotlight Items

Spotlight items are a guaranteed drop for each pool. If you're after leveling up skills for the spotlight items, reset the pool when the desired item appeared.
