Decrease Deadzone For Better Aim

Deadzone is dependent on your controller.

For maximum accuracy and reaction time, you want it to be the lowest possible value without getting stick-drift.

Enable Target Compensation For Aim-assist

Without this enabled, it can be increasingly difficult to track a & deal damage to a target.

Apex Legends Controller Presets

There are 6 distinct controller presets in Apex Legends

Default Preset

The standard/recommended controller layout.

Bumper Jumper Preset

Puts Jump on LB/L1.

Allows for jumping without sacrificing view agility.

Button Puncher Preset

Puts Crouch on R3.

Evolved Preset

Puts Jump on LB/L1 and Crouch on R3.

Jump, duck, slide, and drop from walls without sacrificing view agility.

Grenadier Preset

Puts Grenades on RB/R1 and Ping on UP Arrow.

Ninja Preset

Puts Jump on LB/L1 and Crouch on RB/R1.

Best used when "Hold To Crouch" is enabled.
