What Is The View Mode?
View Your Surroundings From Any Angle
The View Mode is a new feature implemented in the Iceborne expansion which allows players to freely look at their surroundings. You are not limited to your hunter's view as this is a free viewpoint.
Zooming Capabilities Are Present
The View Mode's camera will have the ability to both zoom in and zoom out. With this feature, you will be able to adjust the camera for the perfect screenshot when in-game!
Pose for the Camera
It was confirmed that your hunter will be able to pose when in view mode. You can take a screenshot of your hunter doing poses alone, or with other hunters in a fun group photo!
How To Use The View Mode
Launch View Mode via Menu
Open your game menu, and navigate to the "System" tab. There will be an option to launch view mode from there. However, please note that the View Mode feature will not be available until the release of the Iceborne expansion.
Time Does Not Stop In View Mode
When in View Mode, time will continue to advance. This means that it is not advised to use the View Mode when near an aggressive monster, or else you might get attacked!
