The Blood Punch is a melee attack that can destroy weaker demons and deal significant damage to heavier ones. When in combat with certain demons, the Blood Punch becomes handy as it can instantly kill or severely weaken them.

Needs Glory Kills To Charge

Needs Glory Kills To Charge

You need 2 Glory Kills to get 1 charge of the Blood Punch. Using certain upgrades, other sources such as health and armor pickups can contribute a charge to your Blood Punch.

How To Upgrade Blood Punch

Multiple Ways To Upgrade

Blood Punch Upgrade

The Blood Punch can be upgraded in 2 different ways: story progression and Sentinel Crystals. Progressing at a certain point in the story increases the power and the charges of your Blood Punch while using Sentinel Crystals makes it easier for you to gain a charge.

Story Progression Upgrades

Mission 8Glory Kills on Heavy Demons will now instantly charge a Blood Punch.

Sentinel Crystal Upgrades

Health for BloodAs long as you're at max health, all health pickups contribute to Blood Punch.Armor
Armor for BloodAs long as you're at max armor, all armor pickups contribute to Blood Punch.Ammo

Buff Blood Punch With A Rune

The "Punch and Reave" rune allows you to survive longer in intense fights as it forces demons killed with a Blood Punch to drop health pickups. Use this rune if you favor fighting in close range.

How To Use Blood Punch

Use With The Melee Key

Once charged, you can use the Blood Punch by pressing the melee key. The default key for the PC is "E" while it is "R3" for the PS4. It has the same key as the Glory Kill, and if pressed in front of a staggered target, the game will always execute a Glory Kill.

How To Unlock & Get Blood Punch

Unlocked During Mission 2

Blood Punch Mission 2

You will be able to unlock the Blood Punch while playing the Exultia mission. Once you reach a certain point in the story, the Blood Punch will unlock and can be used for the remainder of the game!
