Revenant - Weakness & Tips

Weak Spot: Shoulder Rockets

Weak Spot: Shoulder Rockets

The Revenant mainly relies on its shoulder mounted rockets to deal damage to you. However, these are also its weak spots. Destroying these rockets will effectively impair the demon, and give you an advantage.

Use Sticky Grenades & Precision Bolt

Use Sticky Grenades or Precision Bolt

Use a Combat Shotgun with the Sticky Grenade mod to decimate the Revenant's shoulder rockets. You can also use a Heavy Cannon with a Precision Bolt mod to have an easier time taking out the Revenant's weapons!

Vertically Mobile Demon

Thanks to its jetpack, the Revenant is a highly mobile demon. It may be tricky to pin down since it constantly moves around. However, you can equip mods to your weapons such as the Precision Bolt to have an easier time hitting it.

Does Not Have Much Health

Despite being highly mobile, the Revenant does not have much health. A single well-placed shot with the Super Shotgun should be enough to get the job done.

Revenant - Attack Patterns & Features

Attacks Using Rockets

Can Fire Rockets

The Revenant will mainly attack using rockets. It can fire two types of rockets at you. Dumbfire rockets, and homing missiles.

Dumbfire Rockets

The Revenant will be able to fire a missile barrage at you. These do not home in on you, and can be evaded by simply moving away from the direction where the Revenant fired.

Homing Missiles

Homing missiles will follow you around, trying to hit and explode on you. Your HUD will warn you if a Revenant's rockets are following you, so you can double jump or dodge to evade them.

Melee Attack

Melee Attack

Once the shoulder rockets have been destroyed, the Revenant will only be able to melee attack. This does not do much damage, and can be easily avoided by maintaining distance or by dashing away.

Stay A Distance Away From the Slayer

Stay A Distance Away From Slayer

The Revenant is not recommended to go head-to-head with the Slayer due to its low HP. Instead it is recommended to stay away in order to avoid getting burst down by an enemy Slayer. They can leave the frontline to tankier demons such as the Mancubus.

Use Mobility to Keep Away

Thanks to its jetpack, the Revenant is highly mobile. Make sure to keep using your jetpack to constantly relocate and move around, giving enemy Slayers a hard time pinning you down!

Harass From Afar With Rockets

Harass From Afar With Rockets

Use your rockets to fire from afar and harass Slayers. This can slowly chip away at their health, while at the same time deterring them from coming near you thanks to the barrage of rockets!

Use Barrage For Close Quarters

Use Barrage In Close Quarters

If ever the Slayer comes close, you can use your rocket barrage to deal tons of damage to them. It can be a great way to fight back when cornered, or a start to an ambush!
