What Is Battle Pass / Series XP?
Unlock Series Skins & Rewards
Series XP, or Event XP, is used to level up your Series Level, allowing you to unlock exclusive skins and customization goodies that you can use in multiplayer and in the singleplayer campaign.
Series Are Time-Limited
A Series lasts for only a couple of weeks and their rewards will change once another series arrives. It is not yet known if Series Rewards will repeat, so just to be on the safe side, if you want a specific Series skin, better farm XP for it!

Clear Weekly Series Challenges
Series Challenges are a set of challenges that you can complete to get a large amount of Event XP. Do them as soon as you can as the challenges change every week!
Play Battle Mode
The Battle Mode multiplayer session will give generous amounts of Series XP per each game, given you win the match, about 4000+ per game. This will be your main way of acquiring Series XP once you have finished single players to contents.

Playing the main story campaign and finishing levels rewards you with XP that contributes to your Series Level. You can also ramp up the difficulty as the higher the difficulty, the more Event XP you get.

You can replay story levels once you have completed them. You can take advantage of this by using the missions to clear weekly challenges. Make good use of Fast Travel so you can go to certain locations to fight specific enemies required to complete a challenge.

In multiplayer, you can designate friends as Boosters, giving you a certain percentage of their XP every time they play. This XP bonus is not deducted from their XP rewards so invite some friend to play DOOM Eternal and have them as your Boosters for passive XP!
