One of the best ways to avoid the corrosion of Timefall is to take cover under nearby buildings, caves, or shelters. If you are able to make it to a Private Room, you can pass 30 minutes in the game to move time.

As you move forward through the Episodes, Sam will eventually get better gear to help him avoid areas with Timefall. This includes a weather forecast feature, Timefall Shelters, and even raincoats to protect his cargo.

Check the Weather Forecast on Cuff Links

When plotting your delivery routes, make sure to check your Cuff Links for the Weather Forecast. Your Cuffs will show you which areas are experiencing Timefall so you can adjust your route accordingly!

Please note that in order to access this feature, you will need to progress the story to a certain point. You will not be able to access the weather report until after completing a specific mission order.

If you're unable to find shelter and have a vehicle nearby, it's best to take to the road to get out of the rain as fast as possible. This method is only viable if there are no BTs in the Timefall you are caught in.

Before going on any delivery, make sure to move your most important cargo deep into your backpack. This ensures that the important cargo will take the least damage if you're unable to avoid Timefall.

When your cargo's container starts to erode, fix it up with a Cargo Repair Spray. Do this before the damage gets to the cargo inside the container as you won't be able to repair damage to actual cargo itself.

Anything besides Sam that is exposed to Timefall will take damage. This includes your cargo, gear such as shoes, vehicles left out, and even ladders or structures.

When Timefall appears, it's possible for Beached Things or BTs to be close by. This is especially true when the rain turns black. When this happens, it's best to sneak past them to avoid confrontation.

Timefall often indicates that BTs or Beached Things will make their presence known very soon. It's best to keep yourself crouched and silent to avoid these dangerous entities.
