What Is Repatriation?

A Way To Revive Sam

Sam is a "repatriate", which means he can come back from the dead from a place know as the Seam, by doing a Repatriation. When you die, you need to complete a mini-game to find your body to revive Sam instead of a game load.

After dying, you'll be transported to the Seam, where you'll need to gather clues and find your body while in soul mode in order to be revived.

How To Do Repatriation (Revive)

1. Search For Strand

1. Search For Strand

To Repatriate, first move around to find a "Strand", a golden spiral that's hard to miss. When you spot one, move towards it.

Search near the strand as your body is nearby. You may need to move up or down to find it. Your Body Will be displayed by an icon.

3. Hold Down Command Key Next To Body

Move next to your body and hold down the repatriate command key. You will be taken to a cutscene and be prepared to restart.

4. Start Again Anew

Start where you've left off after a cutscene. Remember to change your tactics and approach!
