If you have BB connected, your Odradek Scanner will provide you with more accurate information on the distance between you and the BT. The redder & faster it flashes, the nearer the BT.

In your travels, make sure that BB's stress levels are kept to a minimum. If BB suffers from Autotoxemia, it'll be unable to operate the Odradek and sense BTs.

When the Hunter gets a hold on you, you can still escape its clutches. The Hunter won't be able to drag you under when you're outside of the range of the black liquid.

Use Vehicles To Outrun Them

You can use fast and agile vehicles like the reverse bike to go through the areas infested with BTs. Just be careful not to bump into one as it will automatically get you dragged down to a BT battle.

Use Hematic Grenades to Combat BTs

Throwables like the Hematic Grenade are useful for combating BTs. These throwables were especially designed for Anti-BT purposes. Keep in mind that you need blood in order to use these Hematic Grenades.

Hold Down L2 & R2 to Throw Further

Holding down the L2 and R2 buttons will allow you to throw the weapon further. This can help you hit BTs that are far away from Sam!
