Spade Gulch Location
Located In The Eastern Part Of The Map
As part of one of the quests which the robot Burgl can give you, you will be tasked with planting a Trail Marker in the so called "Spade Gulch". This is a small ravine-like area in the eastern part of the yard map. It's populated with many insects, so we recommend saving before going in!

Build A Trail Marker
Once you've reached the central-most area of this entire gulch, you'll see the blueprint for a Trail Marker already in place. At this point, if you have all the ingredients, just press E to complete the construction as well as the quest!

Beware The Bombardier Beetle
Spade Gulch is populated with a wide variety of Insects, not the least of which is the lethal Bombardier Beetle. These unpleasant foes will spray vile, boiling juice in a frontal cone - this is highly lethal, especially if you're not well-geared, so be careful! Make sure not to attack it head on - strafe around it to avoid its attacks.
Insects Might Eventually Leave
If you're not feeling confident enough to take on the enemies there, you can always wait until they leave!. We have observed the enemies in Spade Gulch leave and wander off into other directions, so you might be able to find a long enough window to get in there and build the beacon!
