Anthem Interact With Plants, Minerals, & Chests

When you're out exploring on the planet, you can interact with glowing flora, minerals, or treasure chests and these will give you loot. These can include Embers that you need for crafting your equipment.

Salvage Extra Equipment

If you have any extra equipment lying around in your Vault, you can salvage them and they can give you Embers. The rarity of the Embers you get follow the rarity of the items that you salvage or dismantle.

Complete Weekly & Monthly Challenges

Anthem Complete Weekly & Monthly Challenges

Finishing challenges can also award you with higher level crafting materials such as Masterwork Embers. These are needed to create more powerful equipment that will help you through your Anthem journey.

What Is Ember?

Anthem Materials Needed To Craft Equipment

Embers are materials that are required for Pilots to craft their equipment, be it weapons, gear, or components. These are lootable in the world, received when dismantling equipment, or rewarded for completing challenges.

Embers Need To Be Same Rarity As Equipment Being Crafted

In order for you to properly craft your equipment, you need the same rarity of crafting material. For example, if you want to craft a Rare weapon, you'll need Rare Ember to create it.
