2Launch an expedition

4. Eliminating Wyverns - Tips

Use Mid To Long Range Weapons

Use Mid To Long Range Weapons

Wyverns will be circling the Strider when you arrive. Deal with them by using a mid to long range weapon like the Assault Rifles to safely pick them off at a distance, and avoid their fire attacks.

Use Your Compass To Find The Tools

The compass is a handy device which will show you the general direction of the tools that you need to retrieve for Diggs. When you are right on top of the tools, the compass will glow in all directions.

7. Searching The Ambush Site - Tips

Lesser Ash Titan Will Be In The Area

Lesser Ash Titan Will Be In The Area

A Lesser Ash Titan will be present in the ambush area. Defeat it first before searching the area to avoid getting damaged by its powerful attacks. Shoot at the glowing body parts to deal damage, the position of the weak spots differ upon each attack.

Avoid The Rings Of Fire By Flying

The Lesser Ash Titan will sometimes strike the ground, releasing a ring of fire that expands around it. Coming into contact with it will not only damage you, but overheat you as well. Fly upwards and hover to avoid the rings of fire.

The Lesser Ash Titan can also throw glowing fire orbs at you that will apply a burning debuff in addition to damaging you. You can dodge these attacks by hitting the evade button right before the attack hits.

9. Defending The Strider From Wolven - Tips

Stay Away From Frost Wolven

Stay Away From Frost Wolven

Frost Wolven have the ability to freeze you when they attack, leaving you vulnerable to the rest of the pack's attacks. Relocate to a further area when Frost Wolven get too close, and shoot at a safe distance!

10. Defeat The Ursix - Tips

The Ursix' Head Is Its Weak Spot

The Ursix

The weak point of the Ursix will be its head. However, shooting at it will make it angry. Maintain a safe distance, and shoot at its head to quickly bring it down.

Evade The Rocks It Throws At You

The Ursix will also have ranged attacks and will occasionally throw rocks at you. These deal a significant amount of damage when it connects, so make sure to time your dodge when the Ursix reels up its throws.
