How To Craft Weapons In Anthem

Craft Weapons Using The Forge

Craft Weapons Using The Forge

You will be able to craft using the Forge in Fort Tarsis. Select "Weapons", and choose Primary or Backup weapons. Choose the Crafting Tab to display all available weapons that you can craft.

Materials Needed To Craft Weapons

  • Blueprints
  • Chimeric Alloy
  • Chimeric Compound
  • Weapon Parts
  • Embers

You will be able to get weapon parts from containers while exploring Bastion in Freeplay, and mission. Salvaging unwanted weapons also gives you weapon parts.

Crafting Mastercraft Weapons

Crafting Mastercraft Weapons

You will be able to craft Masterwork Weapons in the Forge by unlocking their blueprints. You will need to loot the Masterwork Weapon, and then complete the challenge to unlock its blueprints.

Masterwork Embers Required To Craft

In addition to the Blueprints, you need to have Masterwork Embers in your possession in order for you to craft these.

Crafting Legendary Weapons

Unlike other weapon rarities, you will not be able to craft Legendary Weapons. You can only get Legendary Weapons through random loot drops in Bastion.

How To Craft Gears In Anthem

Use The Forge To Craft Gears

In the main page of the Forge, select any of the three Gears of your Javelin, and navigate to the "Craft" Tab. Gears that are available for crafting can be found under this tab.

  • Chimeric Compound
  • Javelin Parts
  • Embers

Possession of specific Javelin parts are required for crafting Gears for a certain Javelin. For example: Interceptor parts will be needed for crafting Interceptor specific Gears. You can salvage these from Interceptor Gears & Components.

When inside the Forge, choose the components section on your Javelin. Navigating to the "Craft" Tab will display the available components that you can craft at the moment.

Just like Gears, crafting Components will require you to have specific Javelin parts for crafting certain Javelin components. You do not need Javelin parts to craft Universal Components.

Before crafting, make sure that you have all the necessary materials in order to craft the item! If you do not have enough materials, you will not be able to craft the item.

In order for you to get Blueprints, you will need to complete challenges tied to that specific item. You can check and track your progress in those challenges by viewing them in your Cortex.

Where To Get Alloys & Compounds

Chimeric Alloys and Compounds are a necessity for you to craft almost anything in the game. They can be found in abundance all around the world of Bastion. You can harvest them from rocks, plants, and more!

Where To Get Embers

Embers are needed to craft weapons of a specific rarity. Embers are usually randomly dropped loot when exploring the world of Anthem, but can also be found by salvaging weapons of a specific rarity.

Getting better gears will be helpful as you take on tougher enemies and challenges while you level up. Stronger gears will allow you to deal more damage in combos, control mobs of enemies, and more.

Even if you have the necessary materials, you will not be able to craft weapons without its blueprints. Make sure that you have the blueprints needed to craft your weapon before going to the Forge!

Craft As Many Times As You Want

As long as you have the required amount of materials, you can craft items as many times as you want. Recrafting can give you the same item, but with better inscriptions than what you already have.
